Make the learning journey audible
Original Songs for Retreats, Courses and Programmes

Participants often complete a programme with powerful reflections that are difficult to preserve after the final session. Turn Your Ideas Into Music™ helps transform those experiences into original songs that can be heard, shared and remembered.
From reflection to a Big Reveal
The process can begin with one-to-one interviews, written reflections, voice notes or a structured group exercise. The material is shaped into a song that reflects the participant’s own language, learning and emotional movement.
The finished work can be revealed privately, at a graduation, during a retreat closing circle or as part of a live community celebration.

Flexible project models
Individual participant songs
Each participant’s reflection becomes a separate song, creating a personal record of their journey.
One collective programme anthem
Shared themes and approved contributions are developed into one piece representing the whole cohort.
A curated song collection
Multiple songs can document different stages, themes or participant perspectives across the programme.
Big Reveal experience
The songs are integrated into a planned final presentation so participants and invited guests can witness the programme’s impact.
Safeguarding the participant’s voice
Interview and reflection material should be handled with informed consent, clear usage boundaries and appropriate safeguarding. The commissioned organisation remains responsible for confirming participant permissions and any necessary parental, guardian or institutional approvals.
Case study: The Seven Steps Programme
The Seven Steps framework explored remembering, reckoning, repair, reimagining, recentring, restoring and resetting. One-to-one conversations were translated into songs centred on identity, ancestry, healing, self-determination and community.

Frequently asked questions
Can every participant receive a song?
Yes, subject to cohort size, schedule and budget. Multi-song projects require structured interviews, approvals and production planning.
Can the organisation use the songs in reports or promotion?
Only where the agreed licence and participant permissions cover that use. Internal playback and public promotional use should be treated separately.
Can this be built into our course design?
Yes. Early involvement allows the reflection prompts, interview process, consent and final reveal to be planned properly.
